Our fortune cookie from the local Chinese restaurant seemed to suggest that the past four years of continuous paperwork and planning will soon result in the creation of our family! We are scheduled to leave for Beijing, China on 7/13! I think the entire trip will take about 20 hours to complete so we are scheduled to arrive in Beijing at about 2PM Beijing time on 7/14 (they are 12 hours ahead of us).
We're going to give this blog thing a try because we want to share our experience with our friends and family, not because we're writers or travel reviewers. It is our hope that we will have access to the internet, can successfully download some pictures, and manage to take the time throughout our trip to give everyone our updates. We hope you all enjoy our trip with us!

ReplyDeleteA family member has a fortune cookie note saved for us that she opened the night prior to finding out about Keaton's ( Yang Tian Yu) referral. I think it said "You will receive happy news soon". You will have to hold on to that for a scrapbook. Happy travels to Jun!
